Entwicklungsfahrzeug E-25 - Jagdpanzer E-25

The Jagdpanzer E-25 was a German project for a Panzerjäger. The project was part of the Entwicklung series (E-Reihe/E-Serien).

It was based on the 'Leichter Jagdpanzer und Waffenträger E-10' and was developed by the Argus company (Karlsruhe) under the supervision of Dr. Herman Klaue. It was to be armed with a 7,5cm Panzerjägerkanone 42 L/70 and optionally a fully rotating turret armed with a 3cm Mk108 gun as an anti- aircraft/light vehicle weapon.

Some hulls were completed by 23rd January 1945 and were at Kattowitz ready to be moved to a proving ground.

Jagdpanzer E-100

The Jagdpanzer E-100 is a fictional German panzerjäger project of the Entwicklung series (E-Reihe/E-Serien).

It is based on the Panzerkampfwagen E-100 (Gerät 383) (TG-01) which basic design was ordered by the Waffenamt as a parallel development to the Porsche Maus in June 1943.

The prototype of the Pz.Kpfw. E-100 would have been fitted with the 15cm Kwk44 gun, though the final selection between the 15cm Kwk44 and the 17cm Kwk44 had not been made.
The hull had sloped armor, typical of post-1943 design. Wheels were overlapped, similar to the King Tiger and Panther.

In 1944 Hitler ordered the development of super heavy tanks to stop, work on the E-100 however continued at a very low priority.

The first prototype of the Pz.Kpfw. E-100 was never completed and was found by allied forces on the factory floor in 1945. The partially completed vehicle was removed by the British Army for evaluation and then scrapped.

VK72.01(K) - Pz.Kpfw.VII 'Leichter Löwe'

The VK72.01(K) - Panzerkampfwagen VII 'Leichter Löwe' is based on a Versuchskonstruktion (VK) type of panzer.

In November 1941 it was specified that a new super heavy tank was to be developed in the 70 ton weight class, the VK70.01. In the early months of 1942 Krupp was ordered to start the process of designing this new super heavy tank.
Krupp presented a conceptual design which was based on the project VK70.01 (Tiger-Maus), armed with a 10,5cm KwK L/70 gun.

The name was changed in April 1942 from VK70.01 to Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe.

Many alternative designs were considered from February 1942 to May 1942, including rear and center mounted turrets, alternative armament, etc...
In late 1942 the whole project was cancelled.
The Löwe project never left the drawing board and never reached the prototype stage.

Therefore the rear mounted turret design, VK72.01(K) Pz.Kpfw.VII 'leichter Löwe' armed with a 10,5cm L70 or 15cm L40 gun is fictional.
Nevertheless I think it is a nice panzerproject to build.
