Jagdpanzer E-100

The Jagdpanzer E-100 is a fictional German panzerjäger project of the Entwicklung series (E-Reihe/E-Serien).

It is based on the Panzerkampfwagen E-100 (Gerät 383) (TG-01) which basic design was ordered by the Waffenamt as a parallel development to the Porsche Maus in June 1943.

The prototype of the Pz.Kpfw. E-100 would have been fitted with the 15cm Kwk44 gun, though the final selection between the 15cm Kwk44 and the 17cm Kwk44 had not been made.
The hull had sloped armor, typical of post-1943 design. Wheels were overlapped, similar to the King Tiger and Panther.

In 1944 Hitler ordered the development of super heavy tanks to stop, work on the E-100 however continued at a very low priority.

The first prototype of the Pz.Kpfw. E-100 was never completed and was found by allied forces on the factory floor in 1945. The partially completed vehicle was removed by the British Army for evaluation and then scrapped.
